BIMSTEC Cultural Industries Observatory (BCIO): Located in Thimphu, Bhutan, it promotes regional cooperation in cultural industries and heritage preservation.

BIMSTEC Energy Centre (BEC): Located in Bengaluru, India, at the Central Power Research Institute. It supports cooperation among member states in the energy sector.

BIMSTEC Centre for Weather and Climate (BCWC): Located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and hosted by the National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting. It focuses on weather forecasting, climate studies and disaster preparedness.

BIMSTEC Technology Transfer Facility (TTF): Located in Colombo, Sri Lanka, it facilitates technology sharing, innovation and capacity building among BIMSTEC members.
